But Peace isn't so easy to find,
Its not just around the corner,
Its not hidden in the clouds,
Its not serendipity,
Its not by default.

But Peace is reflected in the truth,
It is in the drops of the rain,
It is in the blossoming of a Rose,
It is in the laugh of the Child,
It is inside us All..

Reach for the true You inside you,
Call the Pure Spirit within,
Look upon the Nature
Hold the One who Nurtures,
Take a moment of Silence
Take a pause
And
Say a prayer within..

Open your eyes
Witness the deed,
See the World around
with purity.
Welcome to the World Of Peace,
Welcome to the World of Peace..

Butterflies...

the tingling feeling in my stomach,
the warm rising of my blush;
the fear erasing
something big taking its place.

Never experienced this before,
the moisture making my heart full
something like Love is around me ,
but dont know what to do!

The signs surround me
the music around me
the feelings inside me
so soft- so strong
taking me over,
pulling me under,
Making me Better..

I feel the butterflies in my stomach
a miraculous beauty is now taking over.

Things wrapped inside
don't know what to say
way looks empty ahead
but the path calls me away.

Something lost
Something misplace
Losing the touch and the essence.

I pray for guidance
I pray for light
I pray to you my Lord
and lean on You for Your support...

THE SUN AND THE SON….

The Sun spoke to me today..

He asked me to wake up

And look at the World

With my Eyes wide open.

I saw the World

Full of Love, at peace

I wondered out loud –

“How can this be?

Aren’t we all selfish beings -?

Not bothered about anyone but ‘Me’?”

The Sun smiled at my query,

Looked at me like a father who knows his child is mistaken.

He said-

“Why always see

The shallow things and

Not explore the matter deep within.

You and all my children

Have the Deep Well of Empathy:

Why not employ it and bring out the best in each.

Now I see the world again,

It’s noisy and busy

But it is satisfying and serene

The spirit of kindness can be sited deep within.

TAKE A MOMENT...

Why so busy to live,
Why so tired to enjoy.
Why so mindful of the conventions.
Why so worried about the upcoming,
Why so hooked up at the past.
Why not to live in here and now.
So lets go out-
See the sun setting,
The moon rising.

Lets feel the cool breeze on our face.
Lets take a moment to stop
And look at the lovely flower,
Or smell the freshly mown grass.
Or enjoy the fragrance of Earth after the first rain.

Lets take a moment to see
the kids playing, a mother fussing,
babies laughing
friends smiling,
birds singing, animals dancing,
Flowers blossoming.

Lets take a moment to admire the life around us;
And consider ourselves fortunate to be a part of this beautiful magical world…
